Initial Comments:
A validation survey was conducted on July 26, 2022, to determine the compliance with the requirements of 42 CFR Part 483, Subpart D Requirements Emergency Preparedness in Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities. At the time of the survey there were zero consumers present. The processing of the validation was delayed due to there being zero consumers present during the validation (plans were in place to use this facility). There were no deficiencies.
On March 7, 2023 a new attestation was forwarded along with a detailed account outlining the presence of two (2) consumers covering an admission span and current history effective February 27, 2023 to March 3, 2023 with another admission planned for March 20, 2023. A statement was received advising that additional youth will be considered as the facility receives referrals.
